[Alert] Wanna Cry Ransomware

It's the most booming word all around. You may have already heard about it some where or else you are sitting inside the cave, here's all you should know.

Cert has already issued a red alert against wanna cry or wanna crypt.

What is WannaCry ?

WannaCry is a program targeting Microsoft Windows Operating System. It is a kind of attack where user take control over your system and allows to access it only when it you pay them.

Until now, they have been asking to pay 3 bitcoins equal to Rs. 19000/- and after 3 days of it they are asking to pay Rs. 38000/-.

What should you do?

Don't click on any suspicious link, even if you know the sender.
Cert India has tools on it's website, make use of it to remove it.
You should also report to Cert India - http://www.cert-in.org.in/
Update your anti virus security patches as well as Windows Defender as Microsft already released patches for it.
Don't download any ppt, zip and pdf from unknown sources.
Backup all your Data.
If you are a victim, you don't have to pay a single penny, you get offine as soon as possible.

What happened till now ?

.wncry extension files are merged with .doc, .ppt, .mp4, .pdf files.
Already 200,000 computers have been attacked in over 150 countries.
Computers at Andhra Pradesh Police departments have been attacked, they are not working in 18 units.
According to a report Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai have been affected.
ATM's should have been also attacked.

Update: The first image of the Moto X4 has leaked (see above). It was recently posted on Twitter by Evan Blass and shows the front as well as the back of the upcoming smartphone.
