[Mobiles] The SRT(Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar) Phone –Smartron

Finally, srt phone is out, designed and engineered in India made by Smartron. After the failure of Tbook and Tphone, srt phone is offered by Smartron.

Smartron launches its second phone to be mid ranger as India’s market is very sensitive in terms of price. It has two versions according to storage one is 32GB and other is 64GB. Price starts with Rs.12999/- and for the other version it is Rs.13999/-

Other than storage there are no changes among the two. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 (power- efficient chip). Sadly it has no memory card slot. So, storage might be an issue for power users but it also provided solution for it by giving unlimited storage in tcloud.  It has support for quick charging, 4g volte, dual sim, finger print sensors.

Specifications:

  • 4GB RAM
  • 32/64 GB Internal Memory
  • NFC
  • Finger Print Sensor
  • 4G Volte Support
  • 13 MP Primary Camera with PDAF
  • 5MP wide angle selfie camera
  • Unlimited cloud storage
  •  Android Nougat

You will get stock android experience with this. Only thing changed by them is the Camera App. It has all the basic sensors unlike Samsung.

It has also promised for three major upgrades for the phone. Currently it is running on Android Nougat.

We can conclude that it is a bit overpriced, as compared with other phone manufacturers (mainly Xiaomi). It would have been a good deal if it would have been a thousand bugs cheaper. Although under the name of master blaster, it will be do well.

Duo's picture-in-picture mode is now available for everyone on Oreo. Oreo introduced picture-in-picture mode for phones and tablets, and Google is now flipping the switch for Duo. The feature is now available on all Oreo devices. You don't need to make any changes to enable picture-in-picture mode. As long as you're using a device running Oreo and have the latest update installed , you should be able to use the feature. With picture-in-picture mode, you get a miniature version of the picture window in one corner of the screen when you hit the home button in the middle of a call. You can move the position of the picture window to any corner of the screen, and the video orientation will change automatically based on whether the phone is in landscape or portrait mode. Available now on Android Oreo! https://t.co/lYr30syCRV — Justin Uberti (@juberti) October 5, 2017
