[Apps] Tasker 5.0 with Material Design UI is now on the Play Store

Tasker is one of the most popular automation apps currently available for Android, and the Tasker 5.0 version update most notably brings a brand-new Material Design user interface along with a plethora of other features.

The Material Design UI was previously available for Tasker users that were part of Crafty Apps EU’s beta program, but with the latest 5.0 version now available on the Google Play Store, all users finally have access to it.

Along with the brand-new look, Tasker 5.0 also adds support for Magisk SU, many new Android O API additions, and 3 Custom Quick Settings Tiles to make accessing your triggers, actions, tasks, and scenes considerably easier. The full change log is accessible from the developer’s webpage here. Be warned, though, that much of it will be incomprehensible if you aren’t intimately familiar with Tasker and its existing feature set.

The 5.0 update is currently rolling out slowly, so keep checking the Google Play Store over the next few hours to see when it finally hits your device.

Duo's picture-in-picture mode is now available for everyone on Oreo. Oreo introduced picture-in-picture mode for phones and tablets, and Google is now flipping the switch for Duo. The feature is now available on all Oreo devices. You don't need to make any changes to enable picture-in-picture mode. As long as you're using a device running Oreo and have the latest update installed , you should be able to use the feature. With picture-in-picture mode, you get a miniature version of the picture window in one corner of the screen when you hit the home button in the middle of a call. You can move the position of the picture window to any corner of the screen, and the video orientation will change automatically based on whether the phone is in landscape or portrait mode. In teardown of version 7.12 of the Google app last week, we spotted several mentions of a customizable “Google Bar.” Since then, we have been able to activate the feature to reveal that future versions of the Google app that may allow users to customize the search bar widget. If you haven't heard of it, that's fine because neither I have heard of it. So what is Indus OS ? Let's find out. Indus OS is an android based OS which acquires around 5-6% of Indian mobile , that is greater than IOS. It offers 12 regional languages, has it's own App store called "App Bazaar". It has a cool feature called Indus Swipe. Swipe right to translate, Swipe left to transliterate. All features are shown in the video given below. You can also send sms for free across Indus OS. So why am I writing about this ? It is same as other OS based on Android. It's because it is going to be the first OS which will be having Aadhar Authentication as Security measure.
